A perfect show with a dvd with some minor hiccups.
1 of 1 found this helpful First of all, the show is fantastic. One of my favorites. The dvd case is sturdy, as are the dvds. The art design on the case front and back is very nice looking. The only downside is that there are some fanservice shots on certain parts of the case, which could make this somewhat awkward to keep around the house. You can cover up the one on the spine of the case by just cutting out an appropriate sized piece of paper and inserting it under the plastic. Since the spine is mostly white it'll still looks really good on a dvd shelf. The first two dvd decals are perfectly innocent, but the last two are mildly fanservice-y. The dvd menus are easy to navigate and understand. Instead of going into setup, they keep a subtitles button right on the main menu, which is helpful. There aren't a lot of extras in this set, but that not a big deal. Video and sound quality: Excellent, no complaints. Subtitles are mostly good, but here and there they have a slight mis-translation or a word doubled. From having watched this from another source, I think the first one did a better job of subtitling. The other version got across the meaning of some of the lines a lot better, and that's probably my biggest complaint about the set. Some of the line meanings changed really does change how you look at the show and characters sometimes, and I wish it was done more like the first version I watched. It's not enough to ruin it though. It's a solid dvd collection with some downsides and hiccups. I would recommend this version, but if you have the opportunity to get one you KNOW is better, I would recommend doing that.
