Just what I was looking for... Simple, light, effective!
3 of 3 found this helpful I was looking for a simple tube style hand guard, I didnt need rails with fancy lasers and flash lights I wanted light weight sturdy feel and this hand guard delivers. This hand guard is very comfortable to hold, the way it attaches to the barrel nut via threads is strong and simple, finish is nice and came scratch free, knurled grip is deep and has lots of traction.

A taste of old world, and an axe every woodsman should own!
This is just the axe head. Built in handle guard is nice, finish seems spot on for the cost. These axes are a slip fit like a tomahawk. I was looking for a bearded axe with a traditional slip fit, and I'm a user so this was not for show. I split a couple of hard wood logs after making a handle and edge seemed to hold up fine. This traditional style is great for my all around woods use. I can chop, split, and hew logs with the same tool, and being stranded in the woods if the handle breaks I can fashion a new one with out the use of fancy tools. On occasion tapping the head off to use as a hand tool is a plus that a wedge head doesnt offer. I would recommend this to a friend or stranger. shipping took about two weeks to make it from Bulgaria to Michigan in the US.
