Vintage West Bend The Poppery 5459 Popcorn Air Popper 1500W Coffee Bean Roaster

Did not heat up enough to work

Although the machine heats up and technically works, it failed to get up enough to pop popcorn. I also tried green coffee beans (I roast my own coffee), and it ran for 25 mins and failed to reach the “first crack” stage. I have an ancient version of this same machine and wanted something a little newer. But this machine never got hot enough. A total waste of $50+.
