Great bass, treble a let down

These were almost what i expected, superb punchy bass and tight low end. Unfortunately the treble is actually painful to listen to. It is far too emphasised and with any eq changes to lower the treble to a comfortable level muddies the bass. To really get the best bass out of the earphone you need around 75 percent volume, but this means that the treble is awfully loud, leaving the middle and bass sometimes overpowered
