Arise, Studio Series 86 Hot Rod
1 of 1 found this helpful I never had an Hot Rod before, and I decided to buy Studio Series 86 Hot Rod from Transformers: The Movie (1986), and boy, was i impressed:
Hot Rod holds a ton of accessories like the Matrix of Leadership, two blast effects for guns/exhaust pipes (car mode), two laser guns, and his trusty buzzsaw that attachment for his right hand, while his left hand can rotate to reveal a welding torch he used to repair Kup in the movie.
For a deluxe class figure, Hod Rod has a a lot articulation like hinged finger sections, swivel hinge shoulders, elbows and knees, double hinge knees and ankles and more, flip down visor and more, making him almost a Masterpiece class.
Transformation is unique and with 29 steps, takes a bit of learning curve, it's fun to play with, transform and pose him as you see fit.
The vehicle mode is almost spot-on for movie. It rolls very well on plastic wheels and feels very sturdy.
Highly recommended!
