One of the best games ever to grace the 8 bit screen
1 of 1 found this helpful Wonder Boy III The Dragon's Trap is a classic. It is the best out of the Wonder Boy Series. The music and graphics are excellent. The only game that I think is better for the Sega Master System is Phantasy Star and that's questionable. For this system, and all eight bit systems I feel this game is a 9 or 10 and is a must have if you love eight bit games. It is a long game with the ability to have passwords to save your game. One negetive, to bad it does not have battery back up.
During game play, the player switches animal type characters after defeating each boss in an attempt to return to his human form. Each animal has different weaknesses and strengths and are used to defeat certain stages.
A must buy for sega fans.

Excellent Fooball game
2 of 2 found this helpful Nes had Tecmo Bowl, Sega Master System had Walter Payton Football. The international version of this game was called American Football. Walter Payton was used in the US market to increase sales. I have to say, for an eight bit game, this is one of the best football games ever made. There is alot of different plays you can choose from. The music, graphics and gameplay are solid. The game is played from an overhead view and catching thrown passes is easy. There is a square to where the ball will land. The player has easy control of the players on the field. This is a great game for a great player. It is to bad he died so young. RIP Walter Payton.

Klax, an arcade classic on the home console.
This is a strategy based game similar to Tetris. It is one of my favorite and best strategy based game for this system. It is a close port to the Arcade Classic of this game. If you enjoyed playing this in the Arcades, you will enjoy having it for the home console.
