Excellent camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I got this camera for my son (15) as he is interested in photography. I've owned a CoolPix before, but this is their performance line, and is for more advanced users. My son was able to figure out most of the controls on his own, and is using the instruction book to learn to fine-tune the settings. So far it's been a great "advanced beginner" level camera, and I'm confident it will serve him well as he learns photography.

Excellent product, a must for youtubers.
Previously I've been using a headset to record my Youtube gameplay videos. This was a big jump for me, spending $50 rather than the usual under $20.
The quality is well worth the investment. When I watch old videos, I'm surprised at the difference in voice quality. I like the little stand that comes with the mic, and the ability to use it either with the stand or without. It's quite a durable mic, too, which is important since my teens sometimes borrow it.

Great classic movie, excellent satire
I bought this as part of an ongoing project to educate my kids in the "classic" movies. Mel Brookes' brilliant satire carries forward even today. Watching this movie together opened up a lot of discussion on racism, politics, culture, and humor. It's a great movie to watch with teens.
The disc itself was in brand-new shape, and worked perfectly. The kids were disappointed when two rental discs in a row were scratched, so it was great to get a brand-new disc that we'll watch again. Thanks to the seller!
