Nice Phone, Great Price
1 of 1 found this helpful After reading all the attributes of this particular phone, larger screen, bigger battery, headphone jack, I decided to get it. I couldn't find one through Verizon, and this one was advertised as a Verizon phone, so I ordered. This is a really nice phone. I was able to set it up easily through the on screen instructions. I had to go to the local Verizon store to get a sim card and to switch my account from my old S9. The salesperson was highly incensed that I didn't buy the phone from Verizon, and informed me that wi-fi calling would not be available. This was bad news since I don't have service at my home in the mountains. So I dug out my old network extender and plugged it in, but it couldn't find a signal. I finally got in touch with a live individual at Verizon tech support, which was practically impossible, but she was able to link the network extender to my phone and everything seems to be working. To be on the safe side I got the Google Voice app and selected another number that works with wi-fi. So I'm all set, getting used to the phone. Everything is working great, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to not having a back button. Everything else, display features, camera, no Samsung bloatware, no Verizon payment plan, great price; super!

Remote music sessions
0 of 1 found this helpful I needed an omnidirectional mic that I could plug into the mini studio on my computer for remote music sharing. The price is excellent, and it's a Shure, so I took a chance, though it's really billed as an interview mic. The sound quality is really great, and it's much more audible than my old mic. It picks up vocals and instruments, and I can even add my husband with instrument & vocals. It picks up everything. I'm very happy with this mic.

Thermometer is working again
Happy to find batteries online for our thermometer! We knew something was wrong when my husband's temperature read 94.5.
