I'm a retired tool maker that have taken up rebuilding vintage model trains (mainly Marx) for a hobby. I don't sell any piece of equipment that I've gone over unless it's flawless both mechanically, and esthetically. What you'll receive when you get one of my masterpieces is a train that is actually better than it came from the factory. l pride myself in my work, and have many happy and repeat customers. And I will help you out anyway I can anytime before or after a purchase. I will share my knowledge with anyone who' s interested

Don't waste your money
The carbide tip started breaking up after just two screws. And since you can't sharpen carbide unless you have a diamond wheel, it was rendered useless. It didn't even do that good a job on the first two screws. Carbide was of low quality, and too thin for the application.
Vintage LIONEL Big O Scale Accessory Diesel Horn Shed - 6-2127 - Used

Don't waste your money
It's actually larger than O gauge, which makes it stand out (like a sore thumb) next to other correctly scaled accessories. And the horn sounds so phony, it's actually an embarrassment. Also the tone keeps changing on it, even with a new battery. I'm sure friends would get a huge laugh if I ever decided to use it.
The horns Lionel uses on their engines and tenders sound much better.
