First purchase, 33% failure rate. Uh, oh.
One out of three boards came out of the bag dead as a door nail, not even talking on JTAG. Visual inspection reveals no visible defects such as misaligned parts, solder bridges, or copper whiskers. Sorry, can't live with that kind of failure rate.

Keeps your 5.56 muzzle down
1 of 1 found this helpful I generally like the NCStar stuff I've gotten here and from other sources. This brake is no exception; it provides great value for the dollars spent. My 20" Armalite M15A4 originally came with a behemoth brake that weighed a ton (89 grams, actually). I replaced it with this unit which weighs about 65 grams, saving a lot of mass right at the very muzzle of the rifle.
The brake still keeps the muzzle flip down and now weighs a lot less, so humping this long barrel is just that much easier.

Direct OEM replacement
OEM drop-in replacement. 1/20th the cost of the OEM part. Seems to work as advertised, although other errors in the induction system are preventing me from verifying this.
