Tumo-Int 3000W Wind and Solar Hybrid Controller with Separate Dump Load (48V)

Works with the Southwest Windpower Whisper 175 3Kw Generator well

Works well with a Whisper 175 that had a 15 Year old EZ-Wire controller. The EZ Wire used switched dump loading to regulate. This uses PWM as well as internal braking to regulate and save from overvoltage or turbine over speed. A huge upgrade. The Generator seems to like it better. The PV input wattage is a low for my setup so a separate 60 Amp MPPT controller works with it. The two pictures show the new controllers and a second the old EZ Wire system. Have some clean up to do. Done in 2 Hours. Pure plug and play.
