Amazing value & quality!
1 of 1 found this helpful This hot air gun is so versatile! I bought it specifically to use for heat shrink sleeving and it does a brilliant job for that. Many guns are far too high temperature for heat shrinking but the variable temp on this one enables exactly the right temp for almost any type of heat shrink. It also goes hot enough for paint stripping and once again the variable temp is a winner as you only want to soften not scorch. Although I haven't needed it this summer I would have used it in February when we had frozen pipe. Most hot air guns are too hot but this is more like a hair dryer on the lower settings and could be used safely on plastic pipes. The build quality is very good too and looks like it will last well. Ergonomically this is nice to use - not too heavy and well balanced, decent length cable with good flexibility. Then the price! Excellent value for this professional tool.

Nice lamps - good value.
These are pretty standard lamps but variations in size can cause issues fitting into the parcans. I had to adjust the bracket bolt to give a little more clearance since these lamps were slightly larger than the old ones. The performance seems to be good and only time will tell if they give a reasonable number of hours service. The price was pretty competitive.

Very useful mics
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought some of these for use with a theatre company since I had hired some Crown PCC160 boundary mics previously and found them pretty useful. These have a very similar spec to that model except that the casing is not as rugged. However at the price if one got trashed it would not really matter so I bought several. Having used them now for many productions, and some have been trampled on by clumsy stage hands & actors, they are all still fully functional and doing a great job. Some have slightly dented top grills but nothing serious. Good boundary mics such as these are a very useful mics for theatre productions where the director is adverse to any visible mics / stands, and perform well without too much mechanical stage noise pick up. I use a combination of personal head mics, overhead stage mics and boundary mics most productions.
