Overall it’s a good product but...
2 of 2 found this helpful Mine had a little focus issue that the previous owner hidden me, despite that the fine focus has to be changed in between-14 and -20 depending the cameras You have. It’s well made at least apparently, and probably it’s the best choice not Nikon You can buy. I’ve the G2 version means has the electronic iris. The VC is efficient. If compared with the new Nikon E sharpness, colours and especially AF speed are not the same level. The price it costs (US version) doesn’t worth the value of the item itself especially because the Nikon costs only an average +30%. The same talking about the 70-200/2.8 the Nikon E is simply the best one ever made. My suggest, if You are a pro skip it! Invest on Nikon, if You are an amateur there’s no reason why to spend more than $1000 for something like that, better to buy a couple of good prime lenses or just a Nikon 35f1.8.
On top of all I said the filter diameter is 82mm!?! Why?!?!
