It's a pump housing.

What can I say? It's a molded piece of plastic. It fits and functions exactly as intended.

They work.

They work, but not exactly like the OEM keys. Example: you can just press the remote start button once, and my vehicle starts. For me, its not a bad thing. The only real complaint is the paint used to mark the buttons and for the Ford logo is not holding up well.
