2013 C300 Steering Wheel Bezel

I have worked on many vehicles over the years. I found the install instructions on youtube, easy enough. When I installed the steering wheel bezel the two lower scew holes ripped out of the plastic. The screws were still 1/8 inch from being fully seated. And yes, I was gentle and know how to torque things. Plastic was too soft, holes too small, or item defective. Bummer!
