Great product
While this specific Item is no longer manufactured, I am occasionally lucky enough to find it on eBay. When I do I purchase it and use it as long as I can. Eventually it will no longer be available at all and I will have to find myself a new product. I am such a creature of habit and have never been a need the New and Improved when the Old and Reliable are still around.

Dory B-5000 Portable Battery Generator
the Dory B-5000 Portable Battery Generator I am going to make an exception. During the past year I have spent a lot of time researching Battery Back Up systems (UPS). I have also spoken to several Electronic and IT Technicians to learn as much as possible about these types of systems so that I could make the most informed decision as well as get the best bang for the buck. I ultimately decided that I was going to go bigger, better, and made in the US. Eventually, I found the Dory line of products and have had my eye on them since. I could not pass up the opportunity to make an offer on the middle of the line B-5000 (5172Wh), they reviewed my offer and made me a counteroffer, which I accepted, and I now own and have had it since 7 January 2023. I have put it through its paces, charging, discharging running various household items and I can say it has not disappointed me once and it is a BEAST. Seriously, this Battery Back Up (UPS) was shipped in in a wooden crate and arrived weighing 137 lbs. The B-5000 is all metal construction, it is solid, has four electrical outlets and a power switch on the rear, with a digital display on the front that provides more information than I could ever use or understand, plus two-fold down silver handles on the top to assist when wheeling it around. Inside the crate was the B-5000, four heavy duty wheels, a wrench to install the wheels, a heavy-duty power cord, user manual, and registration card. My unit arrived reading 99% on the battery and after 10 minutes of being connected to the wall outlet it was at 100%, fully charged. Even though I do not understand everything electrical, what I can tell you is that on the display it reads 202 Amp Hours, and the Battery Voltage is 26.9 Volts. This unit is built like an Abrams tank, seriously it is solid, there is no plastic, even the wheels are commercial heavy duty, and a big plus it is made in the USA. I am so impressed that I am going to be pre-ordering one of their newest units online through their website. Is this a Goal Zero, ECOFLOW, or BLUETTI, no it is not, but in my humble opinion it is by far better, Dory Power LLC is just not as well known (yet). Price, quality build, solid, and best of all American made. They even manufacture a larger unit than the B-5000 that I purchased; they have a B-7000 (7160Wh) you can find it on Amazon. Full disclosure, I am not in any way affiliated directly or indirectly with Dory Power LLC of Cleveland Ohio (Shipping Crate label) or Amazon, other than the fact that I am a customer of both companies, I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Take the time to do your own research and I guarantee that you will not find a better product at a lower price, I didn’t. One final thought, I own a Propane Powered Honda Generator for Emergency backup, which in my case would be Hurricanes but those cannot be used until after the storm has passed, but this Dory will provide me with sufficient power to ride out the actual storm so that I can then also use my Propane Generator. I sincerely hope that this review helps at least one person that reads it and Thank You for taking the time to read it.

Original Axe Dark Temptation vs New and Improved.
Of course everything gets new and improved, except most of the time it isn't an improvement at all. Well that is exactly the case with Axe Dark Temptation, the new and improved is total garbage, so I have been fortunate enough to find some of the discontinued (Old and Great) Axe Dark Temptation. It is what I like and it is what I will continue to use until I can no longer find it. New and Improved can kiss my so if you are looking for the original, this is it. My life experiences JBL L100, then the new and improved JBL L110 (garbage), California for Men Cologne (Max Factor), then bought and of course new and improved by someone else (ruined). Manufacturers need to stop new and improving something that works.
