Revell 1:72 'Sherman M4 A1' Tank Model Kit 03102

Best tank for a rebuild!

This model is the base for a scratch build I want to try. I have ordered a few different tanks and vehicles including those used on DDay for beach invasions and this tank is to be converted to be a Sherman DD swimming tank. Later models of the tank are not suitable for this because of the way they were built at the front end. I will discover the best material for the hull skirting and source a pair of ships propellers. No model kit exists to build this vehicle. This is a Revell model, formerly a Matchbox kit and so will be an interesting model to make.

Good matting down varnish.

Some Humbrol products I like, as I have grown used to them! I now find that if I seal my paintwork once the painting is finished, I can still use this for matting down! I now thin it and its much better and goes further! Its a good product and although not everyone likes it, I do!

Got it for a song!

This was; the first album recorded by Jethro Tull and produced for a very small sum, already I can hear that classic Tull sound and the flute solos are a large part of that, they went from strength to strength from this album, created many more excellent albums and are still around today! I was very pleased to have a copy of this album, it’s very good, great transaction.
