Appropriate length and readable
It covers the aspects of the period not really covered before, was supported with appropriate images and illustrations and highlighted the life of the ordinary seaman as much as the priniciple characters of the time.

Excellent resource
It is well written in covering details and technical aspects in a way that is easy to understand. The political aspects that were also making themselves felt are discussed well. The images are well chosen for relevance and detail. Overall, an excellent, compact resource covering a decade that promised so much for the future of Brotish aviation.

Inkdeath
I bought the book as Inkheart had been a real hit with an austictic girl in my class. I had been trying to build a relationship with her since she arrived. I discovered she had a love of reading and especially of books that are 'little different'. She has swept through the books and eagerly tells me of the 'story so far'.The characters are actually believable and she has been entranced since a bought the series.
