Better than REI's version
With the REI version, you have to push the valve in to secure it in the closed position, and you have to pull it out to inflate it - both are cumbersome and not even possible to do while sitting on it. With this seat, you just turn the valve to lock and unlock - much easier to do and you can easily let some air out while seated on it.

Glad I invested in the hose guide.
The hose guide corrals the sprayer hose from tangling with the water shut-off valves. My old sprayer hose always got caught on the water valves, but with the Moen hose guide, the sprayer hose pulls smoothly every time I use it. There are installation instructions on the plastic guide if one would need them.
