0 of 1 found this helpful We have had several "traditional" toaster ovens. They are slow, and show no improvement in design or performance. This is typical of products from Japan, be it cars, major machinery, appliances, etc, etc.
They are probably smarter and try harder, and it shows.
The device needs NO WARM UP, gets the job done fast without the convection oven. I believe the third heater sets up natural convection. Toast in the morning is super fast. The unit is so powerful, even at full temperature, that it pulses on and off frequently.
The controls are the best, offering ease, memory, and precision. AND, they are at the BOTTOM of the heating space, which is the coolest part of the oven. Very logical and thoughtful.
