Look for an Apple Watch which still has apple warranty.
Thank God, this watch still had 2 months of factory warranty, which gave me access to Apple Care. I was on the phone with them more than 2 hours while they untangled my and my wife's phone so they now have separate accounts, and our health information is separate. Then I was able to unpair and re pair my phone to my new Apple Watch, and all of the apps now work. My main reason for purchasing the Apple watch was to monitor my heart rate and to do ecg's to check for irregular heart beats.
