Bought for the Beautiful Menu System
I bought this R1 DVD for the beautiful menu system. Such a shame that it wasn't used for the blu-rays (which I also have).

Beautiful Transfer, but no English subtitles
Excellent HD picture quality for these classic films. The discs themselves are beautfully presented witn the original poster art.
The only downside is that there are no English subtitles, and the clever plots of these films are heavily dependent on dialogue.
The second film is a step down from the first in terms of pace and arguably directing, but is still an excellent film with a number of big stars, including Oliver Reed, arguably at his best.

No recorded voices, and rather simpler than the later tabletop version, but still a very engaging design. Transporter sound and lighting rather good.
