Good VDSL faceplate that does it's best to overcome the limitations of Victorian technology.
Proper kit for VDSL connection, better than microfilter dongles which seemingly are really only good for ADSL due to the lower frequency they cover.
Since BT put in FTTC in our area, noise on the audible phone line has increased very badly but this faceplate, whilst not 100% removing it has reduced it to about 20% so an 80% improvement. My theory is that VDSL just creates a lot of noise that bleeds into everything close to it. This is probably due to the use of copper cables in the system (it seems most of them aren't even twisted pair, it's Victorian technology!), we really need 100% fibre optics to cure it.
Scrap the copper BT and replace the lot with fibre, you only need to do it properly once!

Very good, cheap and very small shotgun mic.
Almost premium preformance at about 1/8th of the cost of a premium mic. Build quality is fine, just keep it dry.
Included accessories are fairly useless, definitely needs a proper furry wind jammer to use outside, at all (it is very sensitive to the slightest wind).
The three modes are very good though M/S is confusing. This is not the mics fault M/S needs studying to understand properly.
One thing that could be clearer on the M/S function is which is center and which is side output. I discovered after playing that left is mid, right is side though if you get the xlr cables reversed, expect some fun working it out at editing time.
Lastly the off axis rejection is almost non existent(it behaves more like an omni), the rear of the mic pics up almost as well as the front which is strange for a shotgun format mic.
