Precision at a Reasonable Price
1 of 1 found this helpful I am a "mature" woodworking rookie and bought the Zeroplay system on a whim to enter and explore the world of precision woodwork rather than construction quality. The Miter Bars and Stops come with complete and easy to read instructions that make their use for both fixed and temporary jigs Rookie-understandable. They also have enough adjustments to make them easily usable on most of my shop equipment.
My first application was to create a test and alignment sled for my dial indicator to check for table saw blade square. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of the operation and have decided to keep this test jig in tact.
As I said, I am a mature rookie and have just started to explore the use of the bars for jigs, but from the initial jig the opportunities seem to be endless, I can see the purchase of several more sets of Miter Bars from Zeroplay in the future.

Swimming in the Shallow End to start
This Bench/Router combo offers excellent value for the home hobbyist with a compact, inclusive, east-to-use system. Results are quite good for the price point . Assembly is easy enough, with the only negative being the initial aligning the 5mm Above-the-Table height adjustment with the other hole requirements. Overall this combo is an economical;, good quality way to turn wood into sawdust, with all the joy, stress relief, and fulfillment that follows.

High quality cut . . .after some practice!!
After experimenting with this bit and being careful with measuring the results were absolutely "spot on". The cut was sharp and clean every time. I had to adjust the feedthrough rate by telling the operating human-based bi-ped to slow down a little and let the bit do it's job. After giving myself a couple of dope smocks the results were excellent.
