TL-WA860RE review

I bought several of these to try to extend wifi coverage in my house. I have a 3500sq ft 2 story home. Initially I was pleased the repeated my wifi signal and I did not lose the outlet. Within about 10 hrs of use they started acting up. You would connect to the repeater but not reach the internet. A reset would resolve this at least for a few hours. I find this unacceptable. I will not be deploying these in my network.

UPS I use to keep my ONT and Router up in a power outage

I bought this to replace an older BX1500 that the batteries were still good but the UPS itself was bad. I use it out in my garage to keep my ONT and Router powered up even if power drops.

Home Automation upgrade

These worked out well. I upgraded an older kwikset keypad deadbolt that I was unable to link to my wink hub. I already had one of these on my front door. I now have a spare. I did buy seperately the wireless BT module that you can add to these. all in all has worked out I did wish it had come with the key. It did have the smart key but you can't rekey it without the original key. I ended up having a locksmith assist me but still a good buy.
