Short game for Bongo lovers only.
I got a GC with the Bongos and Donkey Konga and loved it so much I wanted to get more bongo games, so I got Konga2 and Jungle Beat. Jungle Beat I purchased without looking much just because I wanted another bongo game. It's an action game, not a rhythm game; a blast for the first hour or so, but I would expect that most can finish it in about three hours. Fairly unique at first, it gets old quick. It's also super easy, I didn't die while playing, but I did get bored fast. Intuitive, well rounded game
This game was very well designed, it takes a good tack to instruct. It begins and establishes the main story, then walks through the playing instructions one at a time, and then allowing for the player to learn that skill or ability. The dialogue is good, the graphics are excellent. The environments are designed to be fairly simple, which could be good or bad depending on your expectations and previous experience with this kind of game. The only downside that I saw was that if you die the game resets and you have to load from your last save point. This isn't so bad if you learn early on to save often, but it can be frustrating. While not quite as perfect (see Final Fantasy XII), it is a very good game to have.
