Great engine but charger missing?
3 of 3 found this helpful Excellent engine, just details missing. Would give it a 5 star if it had the bolt size for its smaller bolt hole pattern. There are 2 bolt circles around the shaft. The inner one appears to be M7 screws, as M6 and M8 did not work, and 1/4" bolts did not work either. Whatever the case, we concluded that the bolts were metric because other parts of the engine in the manual were metric. However, there was no specification in the manual for the actual bolt size, so we guessed it was M7, which we could not find in local hardware stores so we are getting them online.
The second part - it does not have charging capacity for a battery? I checked the output of the wires coming out of the engine - none were a 12V charging output. The manual did not mention anything about battery charging either.
Outside of these details - excellent engine and starts right up no problem.
