Burned Out

Bought this to power a 12V set of LED lights drawing 150-170 mA. Worked well for about 3 minutes, then burned out.

Great sound, perfect control

I installed this decoder w/capacitor into a Bachmann 2-10-2. I installed two 28mm speakers in the tender, including baffles. The sound quality is terrific, unlike anything else I've heard from an HO scale steam engine. The motor control is excellent. I timed my engine in speed step 1, and was able to get it to creep along a 9-inch section of track in 6.5 minutes, without stutter or any hesitation. That's 0.25 scale miles per hour! Removing the locomotive from the track, the air compressor sound (no lights, no wheels turning) sounded for another ~20 seconds. Great sound, fantastic motor control, reliable performance. The price is a little bit expensive, but it is totally worth it.
