This Is Elvis (Special Edition) [New DVD] Special Ed

Long Live The King!

Ebay and PopMarket, you have hit a home run! In this case, the third time is the charm! My two previous dvd sets of "This Is Elvis," were either poorly made, pirated, or would not even play on my dvr. I am so glad that when I saw this dvd, I decided to give it another try and purchase it again. The new dvd set is the best I've ever seen! I took two nights to watch both discs, and was thrilled beyond thrilled! You must have taken a great deal of care to go back to the drawing board and cleaned up a lot of film to bring both the theater version of the movie, and the video version back to their original glory and splendor! Many, many thanks to you both for your time and hard work in re-issuing "This Is Elvis." Your efforts have not only paid off, but you've made this Elvis fan forever grateful and very happy!

2003 Leonard Bernstein Greatest Hits Compilation CD incl. West Side Story Dances

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait.

I just finished listening to my new Leonard Bernstein Greatest Hits CD. All I can say about it is, WOW! This CD is FANTASTIC!!! The best musical selection is of course Bernstein's "West Side Story Dances." Although the CD was a little late in coming, after hearing for the first time earlier today, it was well worth waiting for. My only wish is that Bernstein's selections and theme from the motion picture, "The Ten Commandments" was not included in his Greatest Hits CD. As a fan of both the movie, and its music, I've always felt that he put more of himself and a little more love when he composed the music for the movie. Since I already have a DVD copy of "The Ten Commandments," I will now make sure to add the 1962 version of "West Side Story."
