Much heavier than expected. Built quality seems OK, with annoying flaws.
0 of 1 found this helpful As described the gun is full metal, I expected it would be heavier than the polymer gun, but it's much more than expected. Especially the front end with the rails, they are not aluminum as thought. Same kind of metal for the stock.
There is one flaw with this gun, the magazine receiver it little tight to fit the magazine. To insert, you have to really push the magazine. When you want to remove the magazine, you have to press/hold the release button with the index finger of the right hand, then yank out the magazine with your left hand. Don't expect the magazine will drop down when the release button is pressed, as with most other similar gun, including the real M-16 which I used when in the arm force.
First I thought the magazine is defective, I brought it to a Lancer Tactical M4, the magazine fits nicely, little effort to insert, to take out, just press the release button, the magazine just drops out.
In reverse, I try the Lancer Tactical magazine with this gun, same flaw! Hard to insert and take out. So, I conclude that the flaw comes from the gun itself.
I inspect the magazine which comes with this Colt M4 gun that I have tried insert/remove a few times. The fore side of the magazine shows 2 stripes of rubbing marks. The magazine receiver is too tight, by design.
Other details also make this gun less than perfect with this price range. The barrel cover and the stock are not tightly fit with the whole assembly, both can be shake side by side, when shaking the gun, it makes rattle noise from the loosing part.
In all, I'm not happy with the over all quality, therefore I do not recommend it. Though, I'll keep the gun since it's a manufacturing flaw, not the seller fault. But no more item from this brand name. In fact, some less expansive guns will work much better than this Colt M4.

Excellent quality, and pricing.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought punch of them, both 2x and single. The little pin on each terminal is perfect for building your own battery pack. The material is little hard, probably it must be to hold the battery. The perfect flat bottom and both sides make it easy to glue multiple holder together with hot glue. In all, it's an excellent product. Will not hesitate to buy again.

Excellent buit quality. Fun to play with. Odd size top rail.
0 of 1 found this helpful Lots of Desert Eagle versions (air soft, not real weapon)are available on market. I picked this version since it battery operate and the battery is rechargeable.
For the one I received, excellent built quality, little heavier than expected.
The magazine is smoothly slide out/in the receiver. The top cover is perfectly fitted and locked by a single mechanism, the hammer.
Insert and remove battery is easy. A small level helps to remove the battery with a simple push.
The fire rate is fast, faster than the common airsoft M4. I haven't loaded and fire with the included ball, so no idea about the range or accuracy.
In all, I like the gun more than I thought when order it.
However, it surprises me that the top rail is wider than the common rail found on most air soft gun.
Due to the odd size of the top rail, I was unable to mount a mini holographic reflex sight that mounted perfectly on other three airsoft M4's that I owned.
The shorter bottom rail is fine.
I'd buy the item again, if needed.
