Works extremely well for sailing
Not state of the art but works extremely well for my purpose -- sailing around a race course! With the 12-volt adapter I'm able to plug it in to my cockpit and not worry about using the AA batteries. It gives me bearing and heading on one screen so I know whether I'm sailing high or low to my mark (destination). My first one broke after 10-11 years of use so I bought another as a replacement.

Garmin Nuvi 260 W GPS is great!
This is by far the best little GPS one can buy! It comes with accessories most commonly required (window mount, car charger) and it doesn't try to do everything.

Highly recommended!
