May be your only choice if you need 3 buttons, but some design flaws
If you need 3 mouse buttons, this seems to be the only vertical mouse. And I like the separation of the scroll-wheel from the middle button.
The main design flaw is that there's no place for your pinkie finger. The bottom (right) mouse button extends all the way down. That forces you to hold the mouse with a "queen's little finger" extended outward, like you're holding a teacup.
Also, the buttons are so easy to push that I'm continually clicking when I mean to be just moving the mouse.
As a nice-to-have, I wish there were a loop over the thumb to permit lifting with the thumb rather than rocking (against my little finger) which often leads to an inadvertent click.
Another nice-to-have: default one of the thumb buttons to allow me to move the mouse without moving the cursor (essentially disconnecting it momentarily). Less twisting/lifting that way.

Great (but for one minor detail)
The video quality is excellent. The Logitech Capture software is great (but uses a lot of CPU cycles).
The only downside so far is that it doesn't swivel right/left on its screen-mount, as some cheaper cameras do.

Use it and abuse it
Dropped it, kicked it, used it for years, and it survived. Just replaced it with another of the same.
