My opinion: Super interesting and educational book that nearly reads like a text in novel-style format. Late in the book, though, the reader realizes there was complex involvement by so many family members in various illicit drugs and smoking. The book does address sexual abuse, and delves bravely into chronicling mid-century medical aspects and approaches, and makes comparisons to today’s.
