View this movie as enjoyable entertainment for the whole family!
In a Google search for Georgia ghost towns, I came across Julliett, GA, and the information about this town led me to purchase the DVD, "Fried Green Tomatoes". We really enjoyed watching this surprising, funny, serious movie. The characters portrayed by these actors were true to life of earlier days in Southern Georgia. We plan to visit Juliette, GA right after we watch the DVD again. It will be interesting to see if we can identify places in Julliett that appeared in the movie. I like movies that make you think, show true to life history, those that generally portray the way people and life really is, or was in a bygone time. If you prefer action or fantasy, this movie may not be to your taste.

Written in modern language an account of Jesus life and death.
I bought this book in order to read in modern language an account of Jesus life while he lived on earth, and the circumstances surrounding his death. The Bible is hard for me to read because of the language of the time as written by different people that lived back then. This book relays events in history is a manner that is easier for me to read. I catch myself re-reading some passages in order to sort out the people that lived then, how they interacted with Jesus, the political system and the religious customs of that time. I was a little put off by the title, "Killing Jesus", as it may be interpreted by some as disrespectful to Jesus, although I do not think Mr. O'Reilly meant any disrespect. This book is to me a historical resource for learning more about Jesus and why he was murdered, and how he came to be by far the most revered person of all time.
