The Hopkins Manuscript by R. C. Sherriff 9780241349076 (Paperback, 2018)

A classic dystopia by an unjustly neglected writer
R C Sheriff was huge in the interwar period. He wrote this in 1938-9, during the build-up to World War Two. It is a combination of English comic novel and post apocalypse sci fi, with a bias towards the former. It shouldn't work in theory but in practice it works very well. Sheriff is good at character and pace. I want to read more of his work.

Great product for creative starting out
You're starting to make small films. You need sound effects. This CD won't give you everything you'll ever need but it will give you more than most.
