However the delivery company hermes was a nightmare to deal with. never turning up on my door and updating app as nobody at home, 2 occasions they did it and i am at home. totally useless delivery company. Awesome
if you've ever been caught in the no-mans-land between a bridge and SLR, this is the answer. I loved my SLRs (Nikon and Canon) but hate carrying loads of lenses around and forever changing them . The zoom on the FZ1000 is amazing and yet the macro close-ups are also fantastic. It can be a little fiddly on the manual settings but the auto is so good it's tempting just to leave the dial there all day, although the creative scenes feature has so many settings is great fun to play with. Totally recommend this awesome camera. Great HD video too, with the ability to take single frames from the the video. Great camera, great value.

Great all-rounder
I hate constantly changing lenses so I looked for a good all-rounder to replace the original 18-55mm. Having read that the 18-200mm is too big a stretch and that quality is compromised at both extremes, I chose this instead. It's still early days but having tested it at both extremes I'm happy with the sharp focus, both on manual and auto setting, VR works well and weight/balance is fine. I have already sold the 18-55mm
