Great smartphone - lousy battery life
2 of 3 found this helpful I had a Galaxy S4, for three years. A few quirks but a workhorse and overall ok. As time went on, it got slower as these things do and some videos and things would not run because they are designed for the latest hardware. I upgraded to the S7.
I got top performance as for loading/playing videos and other apps. It's got a great camera, better than my Canon point and shoot.
The problem is TERRIBLE battery life. If I let it sit or just use it minimally, in a few hours the battery life is way down. If I go out for half a day and check email a few times and make a short call or two, the battery will be about 50% gone. Overnight when it's not being used at all, it's almost down to 50%. My S4 was way better. I even took it in to ATT service center who said there was nothing wrong.
I now carry around a booster battery. Which defeats the purpose of keeping this size of phone for it's compact size.
