They're batteries

These are fairly typical CR2025 batteries. The diameter is on point, the packaging is legit, and they provide power to flat devices effectively.

Perfect for when one DAC won't do

The only thing better than one Samsung USB-C DAC... is two Samsung USB-C DACs! Obviously, they can't be used a the same time, but this helps economically make up for the sin of Samsung's omission of this essential hardware in the box.

Great potential held back by poor calibration

All around, this is a great phone, but the stock software holds it back. Out-of-box screen calibration is pretty bad and contributes somewhat to this panel's tendency to exhibit image retention. Installing a third-party kernel and using Kcal with the right settings can almost completely eliminate this. Nowhere else will you find this combination of fantastic features in one place (Verizon compatibility, user-replaceable battery, infrared blaster, SD card slot, LCD screen, and unlockable bootloader). The software is a bit stiff, (can't set a flashlight launch gesture, although it is quickly reachable through the second screen; but you can't set it as the default panel for screen-off functionality) but reasonably well appointed overall. About the only serious drawback in the hardware is the lack of stereo speakers.
