1987 mono
1 of 1 found this helpful The 1987 CD releases of The Beatles first four albums are still the cheapest and easiest way to hear those first albums in mono.
Though slightly lacking the power and energy of the original Vinyl, these were released before the loudness wars and the 2009 stereo remasters, so we have a pretty close to original mix of the first four albums in the original mono without having to spend £250 plus on the mono CD boxset.
Essential for any Beatles CD collection, especially if you don't have the budget for the mono boxset.

Mediocre mix of Street Choir
This is pretty much as good as it gets for Street Choir on CD. which isn't saying much. Trebly and lacking in dynamic range but that's what we got. It's about time we get some proper Van Morrison remasters.
