Great for straight razor Finishing.
1 of 1 found this helpful Few synthetic stones please me with the feel during honing, or the finess of the particles that make up the stones body .
However this Suehiro Kouseki stone both has a graded average particle size, which allow you to use the base stones slurry to refine the apex/edge of a straight razor in a repeatable manner, and this is of top importance when honing for others or your own shaving enjoyment.
I recommend this stone for new honers and experienced alike.
