Too stiff and brittle, spend the extra money for the OEM
1 of 1 found this helpful 2008 Sportster XL1200C - This fuel line is too stiff and brittle for the complex curves required for routing. I had to utilize spiral wrap over the full length in order to prevent kinking, The line does come with a new o-ring, back up ring and retainer (which is not mentioned in the item description), however the retainer does not fit properly and I ended up using the factory one. I decided to try this brand based on the crimps used to secure the ends vs other after market brands which use clamps. I will be replacing this line with a factory OEM unit as soon as possible since I am now questioning the integrity of the line after the initial kinking during installation, after all this is a high pressure fuel line next to a hot engine. Spend the money and get the OEM one the first time the Drag Specialties part is made in Taiwan.
