Even Christopher Lee had a few clunkers
Three films on one DVD, all starring Christopher Lee. I monster is another version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, supposedly in 3D (and including 2 pairs of viewing glasses). Unfortunately, the 3D process (one dark lens and one clear) did not work, but ended up giving me a headache. Another version, not in 3D, was on the DVD and was more viewable. The acting was good, though the story has been done so many times (and in far better quality), that it did not leave an impression, sadly.
Secret of the Red Orchid (filmed in black and white) I had to abort after 20 minutes, since the acting was too over the top, especially by Klaus Kinski. It must have been filmed in Europe, since the voice of Christopher Lee was dubbed and he appeared to be speaking in Italian. Not a keeper.
Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace (black and white) pits Holmes (Christopher Lee) and Dr. Watson (Throley Walters) against Professor Moriarty who seeks to steal precious artifacts from the tomb of Cleopatra. This was filmed in Germany, but was directed by Terrence Fisher. The acting was adequate, but in the words of Christopher Lee "... deadly, is the word." Although others view this film as a dud, I felt it was slightly above average. Again, this is not the voice of Christopher Lee, but was dubbed by someone else. Unfortunate.

Love Kouros
1 of 1 found this helpful Most designer scents have a great initial burst of fragrance (lots use bergamot) that fades to a scent that lingers in the near vicinity of the wearer. Kouros has a rather unique scent with no blast of bergamot, but a more subtle fragrance, maybe due to the eucalyptus oil. Then, I detect some sandalwood, leather, tobacco, spices, oriental incense. This colognes lasts a LONG time. I can detect the cologne on my clothing for several days. I believe it would be appropriate for day or night time wearing in casual or formal settings. I like it even more that some of my Creed colognes (Cedre Blanc, for example) where "woody" is the main theme. The only thing I don't like about this product is the spray top which makes it sometimes difficult to get your finger into the slot to direct the spray in a particular direction. Definitely, a superb cologne!

Sturdy, portable (but heavy) machine with excellent company support.
I purchased this product to sew some replacement Textilene slings on outdoor furniture and to make custom dog beds of heavy, waterproof material. Previously, I used a New Home DX 2030 machine until I destroyed the feed dog mechanism and could not find repair parts. The LSZ-1 is built like a tank and sews through the PVC coated material very easily. The machine is "rugged" and I probably will use my regular sewing machine for doing finer fabrics since I can run regular machines much slower than the LSZ-1.
The machine is not perfect. For example, installing the hinge pins that connect the machine to the bottom of the carrying case is an exercise in frustration. I strongly recommend that Sailrite replace these tiny screws with huge screws that will hold the pins more securely. Even though I was careful not to over tighten them, I must have stripped the puny threads since the screws do not hold the pins and the machine wants to pull out and fall backwards. I will have to be very careful when changing bobbins since the machine must be tipped back to do this exchange. Fortunately, the machine is near a wall so the wall should stop the fall.
I've only used the machine for a limited time (6 hrs) but it runs faster than I would like. I've tried feathering the foot control but the motor strains and then takes off faster than I had hoped. Perhaps it takes some getting used to the control.
Overall, I'm happy with this machine and can live with the minor annoyances.
