Absolutely trivial to setup. Works like a charm.
4 of 5 found this helpful We have a set of powered speakers in the living room and my wife would set up something to listen to on her phone and plug it in. So the phone was always across the house from her whenever she needed it or someone sent a text.
After being blown away at how awesome the Chromecast device was for our TV, we snagged this Chromecast Audio for the living room. It's so simple to setup that anyone could do it. Now my wife just casts her music or podcasts to the speakers and keeps her phone in her pocket.
It sounds just fine. Since it uses Wi-Fi, the music is not interrupted by text of phone calls (as they are with BlueTooth speakers). It's just perfect and simple.
