Apparently someone's return, not new.
1 of 1 found this helpful I received the compressor in an oily box. Advertised as new, but obviously a return since someone had put oil in it and the packing styrofoam was a jumble of broken pieces of the original molded styrofoam stuck in the box randomly to wedge the compressor in place. And, no instructions or maintenance manual! I have not tried it yet because it doesn't match the existing bolt pattern of the compressor head it is replacing. I have got to drill new holes to make it work, which was expected. A little worried about it being a return rather than "new", but that is why I bought Square Trade for it. We will see if it does work as advertised and go from there. Disappointed in the obvious return instead of actually new as advertised.

What I was hoping for...
Seems to be as described.Should be a good fit for a data collector that is used irregularly. Rechargeable packs only last a couple of years. This will extend life of unit use without expensive replacement of sealed battery pack.
