Worth the expense!
I was pleasantly surprised when I reeled up my solar cover for the first time and this system did not walk its way across the concrete. I think it’s a little bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and this is a quality item. I do worry about the longevity of the wheel locks but after a month or so of use they seem to be holding up without any problem or issues so far. I particularly like the fact I can set the height of the system to be able to clear our diving board with the solar cover on it.

Clear optics, light weight, ridiculous drop compensator... under $100... OK
1 of 10 found this helpful It's fairly small and light, which is nice in a tactical scope and the optics are more clear than I thought I'd get. On the top adjustment knob for elevation, there is a way to sight this scope in for 100 yds and then turn this knob up to the 200, 300, 400 or 500 yd range and the scope is suppose to still be on.
The problem? This bullet drop compensator is calibrated for a .223-55 grain round. I'm not sure what rock Nc Star crawled out from but the military round as used today is 5.56mm round (higher pressure than a .223) and a 62 grain projectile. This is what they passed out to us during our missions in Fallujah back in 2004-05... and thats what this scope should be set to use. To me, that sounds like Nc Star is trying to appeal to people to poor to spend the extra on the good ammunition. If you can't afford a few extra dollars for the good ammo, you shouldn't own an AR!

These are the best variety!
I've had both the peanut butter and almond butter varieties and like them both. The almond butter seems a bit "softer of a biscuit...maybe because of the almond butter softening the cookie? The peanut butter ones are great tasting and crispy!
