For your average family traveler, this is a good choice.
1 of 1 found this helpful If you're interested in more artful photography or any macro work, this is not your best choice. Outdoor photos are great, especially with all the scene settings available. The weight and size are great for vacation - especially if you're sight seeing outdoors. I prefer as much natural light - even indoors, and this model doesn't quite keep up. You'll have to use the flash if you don't want a grainy photo. I would recommend this as an easy option for a family camera, but NOT for much more.
