Awesome Footpegs!

These rider pegs are really nice. The machining of these parts is excellent as well as the fit and finish.
I was a little concerned because the pics don't show the adjustment mechanism and I was worried that the pegs relied only on friction to keep them from rotating. The mounts, extensions and pegs are all "keyed" with little pin inserts to allow for 360 degree rotation in 15 degree increments. After you make your adjustments and tighten the bolts, the pegs are very solid and secure. The pegs are nice and wide so they offer a comfortable mount for your boots with excellent grip, wet or dry. I haven't installed the extensions yet but I will in the future.
My bike had rivets that mouted the OEM pegs to the clevis so I had to drill them out and use an 8mm bolt with some washers and a lock nut. These new pegs don't come with the clevis pins so make sure you have the appropriate hardware to complete the install. The pegs, extensions and mounts are aluminum but the bolts they come with are stainless. Make sure you use Loctite or something similar and don't torque the bolts too tight or you risk damaging the aluminum threads. You'll need to reuse the stock coiled return springs from the OEM clevis as well.
All said, I'm very happy with these footpegs and the price is amazing for what you're getting. You won't be disappointed.

Extremely Dangerous!
Bought these pads in April. Today is Dec. 21st. They worked fine until today. I changed tires on my 02 FZ1 and was doing routine maintenance on the brakes. While I was reinstalling the pads, the friction material separated from their plates! The pads are over an 1/8 inch thick and should have plenty if life left. This is unacceptable and potentially deadly. DO NOT BUY!

Great tire at a great price.
My bike is a 2002 FZ1 and I mainly commute to work with some "spirited riding" on the weekends. I live in Houston so no canyon carving for me but these tires work perfectly for what I need. This is my second set after having Michelin, Pirelli, Dunlop and Bridgestone. Great budget tire.
