Whips Up Fantasy From Food
I've been a blender enthusiast since I clicked the switch of my parents Waring decades ago. In the years since I've added a multitude of appliances and gadgets to my kitchen repertoire. The Blendtec has put the best of my workhorse blenders out to pasture. Creativity and experimentation are required beyond the limits of its included recipe book and the results are well worth it. I don't use pre-packaged pudding packets or processed mixes as sometimes suggested in the book and have had terrific success preparing from scratch, beverages, ice-cream, pudding, syrup, sauce, cheese sauce, soup, nut butter, nut milk, juice - and so on. The only drawbacks I've encountered so far, are its loud noise. I wear ear plugs and keep my five-year-old away. Carrots don't pulverize entirely into liquid, even with repetitive juice cycles, and I have to use a strainer to achieve the desired product. Still, for all this does, and my family's dietary needs, the Blendtec has provided more versatility than any single appliance in my kitchen.
