You need to have realistic sizing and correct size speaker grills
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought a pair of 5 inch to use on my Honda goldwing which calls for 4 1/2. They were too small. I had to use washers on the bolts to hold them in. So I ordered a 5.25 set. These are too big. I have to heavily modify bike to use these. The 5 inch are 4.5 and the 5.25 are 5.5. they better sound dam good when installed. Picture of speakers side by side. 1 inch difference Not 1/4
