Useful, comfortable and does what it says
Great product. Have used it in training twice now and it is quite lightweight but strong. It does exactly what it is supposed to do: protects the ears. It stayed on in some pretty heavy grappling. I won't hesitate to recommend the Shinobi Ear Guards to others.

Best way to wake up!
1 of 1 found this helpful Like a lot of people, I need to sleep in a dark room. To wake up, I normally use my mobile phone alarm (loud and annoying) or my Samsung Gear Fit (which buzzes on my wrist). The wrist buzzer is the least intrusive, but it still shocks me into awakening and I often don't feel fully rested as a result.
Enter the Philips Wake-Up Light (HF3520/60). I've only used it for a couple of weeks now but it makes a world of difference! It's the middle of winter where I live at the moment and it's still quite dark at the time I have to get up. Rather than being woken up with a jolt, I am pleasantly roused from my sleep by a warm light. I often wake up before the alarm sound begins (the alarm sound can be switched on or off and is not a fixed setting). If the alarm sound goes off while I am still asleep, it is quite soft and pleasant and enough to get my eyes open, and because the room is lit up, I tend to stay awake. Either way I feel better when getting out of bed, even if it is still pitch black outside.
I don't want to go back to a regular alarm clock after using this product. The only issue is that they're not available in Australia (as far as I could see) so I had to order mine from the US. In any case, eBay made that process easy.

Note - you can adjust the 'ramp-up' time of the sunrise simulation as well. The default is half an hour.
